![]() Horus' main aspect was his tactical acumen, charisma and and all-around badassedness. Unlike the other Primarch, Horus grew to manhood at the Emperor's side, and thus became His favourite. The first of the wayward sons to be found. Legion name: Luna Wolves > Sons of Horus > Black Legion ![]() Therefore, like any good scientist, He used the Primarch's DNA to create the Space Marine legions (one for each, 20 in total) and set off to find His long lost sons. ![]() The Emp could sense through The Force The Warp that His sons were alive, but was not able to collect them with the forces He had at his disposal. However, the Gods of Chaos didn't want to take none of that ****, and uset their dastardly powers to send each Primarch into a different place, scattered far and wide (it's also speculated that the Big Four also tampered with the Primarchs at this point). The Primarchs were the 20 genetically-enhanced super-super-soldiers which the Emperor of Mankind made in his very secret laboratory on Luna, using his own DNA.Įach of them were made to be larger, stronger, hardier, faster, and more intelligent than the normal Imperial citizen, and very much so (where Emp was like a God to a normal human, a Primarch would be a demi-god), they also were incredibly charismatic, as their main role was to be generals and leaders of the Imperial military.Īccording to Ingethel the Ascended, the Primarchs were created by the Emperor with forbidden sciences and arcane lore from the glorious Warp. (the order in which I tell these is by when they were found, not by their respective legion's number.) Since there seems to be a fair amount of WH40K enthusiasts as well as many people who would like to know more about the Grim Dark Future Where There Is Only War, I bring you knowledge of the Primarchs.Īrtwork is made by the absolutely talented Veronica Anrathi, whose deviantart gallery you can find at You need to login to view this link
